The guided first fight on a parchment battle map. Sef the Emberguard's token stands beside a Barrow Wight in a ruined barrow, the turn order bar shows round 1, Donnie's narration panel is on the right, and an orange button reads Strike the Barrow Wight.
A new player starts in a short fight. Press Strike, then tap the dice when they appear. The engine rolls the attack, and the damage if it hits.
The same fight with every control showing: map tools, the dice tower, zoom buttons, the voice button marked Legend, Sef's hit points, armor class and speed, an End Turn button, and a hotbar with Longsword, Second Wind, Dodge, Dash and Help.
Open every control and you get the map tools, the dice tower, your stats and your actions on one bar.

Can I play solo or with my group?

Both. Play a solo adventure with Donnie as your AI Dungeon Master, or invite friends to a shared campaign. When your usual DM cannot make it, bring your session notes and keep your story going.

What can I do for free?

The Wanderer plan includes 55 AI actions each month, 2 campaigns, 5 scene images, and 1 adventure PDF upload up to 64 pages. No credit card required.

What is an AI action?

An AI action is a request that uses Donnie, such as asking for the next story response or generating campaign content. It is an allowance for AI interactions, not 55 full game sessions. You can see your usage in your account.

Do I need a campaign PDF or D&D experience?

No. You can start with a ready-made encounter and build your character as you go. If you already have an adventure, import its PDF or bring your notes. D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e are supported.

Is voice included in the free plan?

The free plan is for text play. Voice narration starts with the Adventurer plan; live Voice DM starts with the Legend plan. You can compare the current allowances on the pricing page. Compare plans.

Can I playtest as the Dungeon Master?

Yes. Run your own campaign and add bot players to try your encounters before your group plays. Bot players start with the Adventurer plan. You can also hand your adventure to Donnie and experience your own world as a player.
