By accessing or using TableTalesAi ("TableTales," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

TableTales is an AI-powered virtual tabletop platform that provides automated Game Master narration, character management, combat tracking, voice interaction, and multiplayer campaign features for tabletop role-playing games. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate game content in real time.

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

TableTales offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and provide access to additional features and higher usage limits.

• Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Generate, store, or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Attempt to manipulate the AI system to produce prohibited content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service for commercial purposes
• Use the Service to develop competing products

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate narrative content, images, and game mechanics. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, or inconsistent
• AI content does not represent the views or opinions of TableTalesAi
• You are responsible for how you use and share AI-generated content
• We make reasonable efforts to ensure content quality but cannot guarantee the AI will always produce appropriate output

You retain ownership of content you create through the Service, including campaign settings, character descriptions, and chat messages ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant TableTalesAi a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to share any content you upload or create within the Service.

The Service, including its design, code, features, logos, and documentation, is owned by TableTalesAi and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

Game systems referenced within the Service (such as D&D 5e) are the property of their respective owners. TableTales is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast, DMs Guild, or any other game publisher.

You may upload adventure module PDFs that you have legally purchased, to play with the Service in your campaign and with the players you invite to it. The Service processes uploaded content for that campaign and does not redistribute or share extracted adventure content beyond your account and the players in that campaign, except in a session recap link that you or your campaign's game master choose to share.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload. TableTalesAi does not provide, host, or distribute copyrighted adventure content. All uploaded material is processed as a private reading and gameplay assistant tool for your campaign.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TableTalesAi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TableTalesAi, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
